O Motörhead acaba de anunciar que lançará um box com a série de gravações ao vivo, The Löst Tapes, no dia 23 de fevereiro.
O quinto volume da série, Live at Donington Download Fest ’08, foi anunciado como parte do box de 8 discos e como lançamento independente em vinil.
O Motörhead lançou a série The Löst Tapes em 2021, restaurando gravações inéditas de shows do grupo provenientes de fitas cassete descobertas nos arquivos do saudoso vocalista/baixista Lemmy Kilmister.
“Havia muitas fitas sujas, empoeiradas e gordurosas” em uma pequena caverna de propriedade de Lemmy, de acordo com o comunicado de imprensa, que foram então disponibilizadas por meio de “transferências cuidadosamente digitalizadas”.
Além do recém-anunciado quinto volume (Live at Donington Download Fest ’08), o box contém os quatro volumes anteriores, que foram originalmente lançados em vinil e digitalmente: Live in Madrid 1995, Live in Norwich 1998, Live in Malmö 2000 e Live in Heilbronn 1984.
