Pode marcar no calendário o dia 29 de maio, já que será a data em que sairá o relançamento de Permanent Waves, clássico do Rush, em comemoração aos seus 40 anos.
Permanent Waves 40th anniversary estará disponível nos seguintes formatos: (1) Edição Super Deluxe; (2) Edição Deluxe com dois CDs; (3) Edição Deluxe com três LPs e (4) Edição Digital Deluxe.
1 – A Super Deluxe Edition incluirá 2 CDs e 3 LPs de 180 gramas preto. O material trará, pela primeira vez em CD, a edição remasterizada do álbum lançada em 2015 em vinil. O conteúdo bônus são faixas ao vivo da Permanent Waves World Tour 1980, registradas no Manchester Apollo, em Manchester, Inglaterra; no Hammersmith Odeon, em Londres, Inglaterra e no Kiel Auditorium, em St. Louis, Missouri, Estados Unidos.
A edição Super Deluxe do Permanent Waves-40th Anniversary também incluirá vários itens exclusivos como: livreto de capa dura de 40 páginas com fotos inéditas; nova arte feita pelo designer original do álbum, Hugh Syme; réplica do ‘tour book’ original de 1980; pôster de 24 x 36, entre outros mimos.
2 – A edição Deluxe com 2 CDs vem em formato digipak, com o áudio remasterizado e as faixas bônus ao vivo, além de um livreto de 20 páginas com fotos inéditas e nova arte de Hugh Syme.
3 – A edição Deluxe com 3 LPs 180g apresenta no LP1 o álbum original e nos LPs 2 e 3 o material bônus ao vivo. O formato traz também um livreto de 20 páginas com fotos inéditas e a nova arte de Syme.
4 – A edição Digital Deluxe, como o nome já indica, traz o álbum original e todas as faixas bônus em formato digital.
